Below is the new run order. We believe this will help move thing along a little faster ( or give the illusion anyway). We are also going to go back to the same order of divisions for all events so PeeWee, Jr, Sr, HS/SN.
Check in for bulls will start around 8ish...
Bulls will be starting at 9am. No you do not have to be here at 9am if you do not ride bulls. We will do our grand entry after the first round of bulls is over. Also, if you are not entered in any of the first couple of events you can come later in the day; you do not have to be here first thing in the morning. Just look for Deb or myself and we will get you checked in when you get here.

We will be hosting our Annual Low Country Boil. If anyone wants to volunteer to do the cooking and or has the cooker please let me know. Mr. Keith Moore has provided this the last couple of years. For the boil we ask families to help provide the food (Lots of shrimp, crawfish, sausage, corn on the cob, potatoes, onions or anything else you want to add). If you know you will be brining any of the above please let me know so we don't end up with 50 bags of onion.  Hint: Lots of shrmp - BTW the shimp need to have the shells on.

It seems like it is taking forever for our next rodeo! I think it is because we are so excited about all the FUN! We will be hosting our 2nd annual turkey shoot on Saturday and will be giving out an overall award to the high score of the day.

We also will be hosting the 1st annual adult FUN rodeo. It will be a mix of traditional rodeo events and not so traditional.

Plus, the food! We will be having an good old fashions Thanksgiving Dinner Saturday at 6:30pm, J2 will be providing a Turkey, Ham and a tray of cornbread dressing! If you know what you are going to bring please comment below. I have been asked if there was a way for families to just make a donation and me pick up an item for them. Yes; I definitely can do that; paypal sagan8@yahoo.com. There are also plug ins available for cockpots and the refrigerator for cold items. .We always have plenty of food so please plan on eating with us. Suggested items: Deviled Eggs, Green Bean Casserole, Broccoli Salad, Mash potatoes, Broccoli Cheese and Rice, Macaroni and Cheese, Cranberry Sauce, Fruit Tray, Dinner Rolls, Deserts. Adult Rodeo oh what fun it is going to be! By request we are going to let family members ONLY ride the Jr Bulls (Must pre-register so we can plan ahead). We have also been asked to do Adult / Child ribbon roping and last but not least the Money Grab - We will secure a $20 bill between a maybe not so friendly steers horns and the winner is determined by who is able to get the money. This will be a $20 entry fee and winner gets half the pot. We will have sign up sheets posted for the events so please enter during the day. Rodeo will start appx 8pm. So, it will be a late night so please plan accordingly. BTW - The outlaw rider pickup can be adult / child combo. It would be a show in itself to see me trying to stand on a barrel much less mount a moving horse.

GFYR Jacket Sales - We will only be taking orders at the November rodeo . Checks can be written and held until pickup at the December rodeo. However; all jackets must be paid for when ordered. This is because they are customized and we can not resale them if you change your mind. Jackets will be $70 this year for all sizes up to XL and $5 more for each size above that. The jackets make great Christmas gifts. We will have a few jackets available for display and trying on at Nov. Rodeo. Jackets can be ordered for both contestants and family members.
